Party Recipes: Six-Ingredient Guacamole

March Madness starts next week, and if you are like me, you are going to spend some time in front of the TV the next few weeks with friends watching some games. And you’re going to eat some snacks. Here’s a home-run guacamole recipe that takes just a few minutes to make.

Ingredients
  • 2 whole avocados
  • .5 cups white onions A whole, medium-sized white onion usually has about 2/3 or 3/4 of a cup diced.
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tbsp lime juice If you a using fresh limes (recommended), a whole lime has two tablespoons of juice in it.
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tbsp salt
Servings: people
Instructions
  1. Dice the onion into quarter-inch squares, dice the garlic, and chop the avocados into quarter-inch cubes.
  2. Mix all ingredients, including lime juice, cumin and salt.
  3. Cover the mixture and stick in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. If the avocados are not especially ripe, you may need it to sit in the fridge a bit longer, maybe even two hours.
